The Hawkesbury has long been regarded as the Sydney food bowl. How can we keep it that way when farmers are under great pressure from increasing land values resulting in higher rates, difficulties in finding employees willing to take up long term engagement with the land, a University that has closed down all agriculture degree courses over the last few years and encroaching development.
