Our Vision

We need to change the balance in our Council as currently under threat is:
- Our rural/semi-rural lifestyle
- Our history
- Our heritage
- Our natural environment
- Our tourism industry
- Our local business and shopping areas
- Our identity as an area distinct from suburban Sydney

And this is because of:
- Insufficient genuine engagement with the community
- Insufficient consistency in planning for the future
- Insufficient support for tourism and small businesses
- A push to develop without adequate infrastructure
- Disregard for the value of heritage
- Disrespect for the environment
- Poor management of public assets
- External influences on local decisions
